The evening Keynote Speaker David Owen author of Green Metropolis: Why Living Smaller, Living Closer, and Driving Less Are the Keys to Sustainability (New York, NY.: Riverhead Books, 2009) will be held from 7-9 pm in the Sullivan Science Building, Mead Auditorium (Room 101). Hosted by Geography Dept as part of the Harriet Elliot Annual Lecture.

Thursday March 22rd– Third Annual UNCG Sustainability Shorts Film Competition, http://sustain.uncg.edu/shorts.html The entries will be screened as part of the UNCG Sustainability Film Series at the Weatherspoon Art Museum at 6:30 in the evening with winners will be announced at a celebratory reception.
